Here’s a cold email structure using the REPLY Method you can use to 2-3x your positive response rates:
Hey [first name],
[personalization]
[empathy]
[results]
[CTA]

Let’s break this down.
▶︎ Personalization – Show you’re not a spammer and that your outreach was intentional. Look for a company-wide initiative or something personal from their LinkedIn that relates to why you’re reaching out.
▶︎ Empathy – Show the prospect you’re one of them. Lead with the pain or frustration the prospect is experiencing. Don’t be too assumptive. Be curious.
▶︎ Results – Get the prospect’s attention by sharing case studies with relevant results you’ve created for similar clients. Avoid name-dropping big companies that aren’t relevant to the prospect.
▶︎ CTA – End with an open-ended question like, “Is [insert challenge] something you’re dealing with right now?” vs. asking for a meeting right away.
This structure works great because it starts with the prospect’s needs/wants, instead of your pitch.
