The first cold call you make of the day will likely be bad.
And that’s okay. Good is better than perfect.
Accept it and keep moving forward.
Some more Nick Cegelski coming at you this morning!
His schedule is super stacked right now. His pipeline is doing well. And he doesn’t have to spend all day every day making cold calls and sending cold emails.
But he still manages to make an hour of cold calls every day.
Here’s how he crushes those call calling blocks:
✅ Group similar personas together
Remove the thinking from the process. Let yourself get into a rhythm calling the same types of job titles so you don’t have to think too hard about messaging.
✅ Set yourself up for success ahead of time
Do all the prep beforehand so all you have to do is pick up the phone and DIAL. Get your list ready, have your talk track ready, and close every other tab you don’t need open.
✅ “Dumb work is not important”
Be okay with abandoning ship. If you have office lines for some and mobiles for others, drop the office lines. You have very little time to call, so make the most of it by taking advantage of all the low-hanging fruit first.
How do you make the most of your cold calling blocks?
